About The Position

Meier Supply is a 100% employee-owned wholesale distributor of HVAC/R products based in Conklin, New York, with branches throughout New York and Pennsylvania. Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
At least one year of delivery driver experience.
At least one year of warehouse experience.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
Basic math skills.
Attention to detail and customer focus.
Excellent attendance and a strong work ethic.
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and DMV record check.

Responsibilities

Support counter sales and assist customers at the counter.
Provide warehouse coverage and serve as a backup driver.
Serve walk-in and telephone customers and help source and ship parts.
Assist with inventory control and warranty administration.
Research products using the computer system, catalogs, telephone, and other reference sources to meet customer product and service needs.
Arrange stock on shelves or racks in the sales area and keep merchandise organized.
Use suggestive selling techniques and upsell to current and prospective customers.
Make outgoing customer sales or service calls and resolve customer complaints.
Maintain showroom merchandising and restock products.
