About The Position

The Sales Outfitter provides counter sales and customer service for non-firearms Hunting/Archery merchandise, as well as sales and service on the retail floor. The role focuses on greeting and acknowledging customers promptly and warmly, handling merchandise with care, and providing information, assistance, and direction. The associate helps customers make purchasing decisions, demonstrates products, maintains merchandise and displays, replenishes shelves, and keeps current on product knowledge and advertised sales.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0–2 years of retail experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Customer service and sales knowledge for non-firearms Hunting/Archery merchandise.
• GCA.
• Ability to merchandise and stock merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Support world-class customer service and provide a pleasant and productive shopping experience.
• Identify and evaluate customers’ needs and recommend products based on that analysis.
• Promote programs including CLUB membership, VOC, and in-store pickup.
• Demonstrate products to customers.
• Organize and maintain non-firearms Hunting/Archery merchandise for sale.
• Replenish products on shelves according to merchandising guidelines.
• Maintain product expertise through ongoing training.
• Stay informed about advertised sales and maintain pricing and signage.
• Assist with seasonal floor merchandise moves.
• Keep the work area clean, neat, and well stocked with supplies.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
