About The Position

Language Trainers is seeking a Hungarian language tutor for a client in Toronto, ON. This is a freelance, part-time, one-to-one general course with a total of 40 hours, consisting of 20 two-hour sessions. The sessions will take place at the student's home or a public location in Toronto (M6G 2M5). The student is a beginner, aged 45-55, motivated by heritage and citizenship application, and wishes to research her grandmother's village. The schedule is flexible, with sessions once per week on Saturdays, Monday/Thursday evenings, or Monday/Friday afternoons. The position is expected to start in September 2026. The hourly rate is negotiable based on experience and qualifications. Please note that Language Trainers is not able to sponsor visas.

Requirements

Native Hungarian speaker and/or relevant teaching qualification.
Experience as a language teacher, translator, or interpreter.
Valid work permit/visa.
Ability to live within 30 km of Toronto M6G 2M5.

Responsibilities
