About The Position
Language Trainers, an international language training company founded in 2004, is seeking an ESOL teacher for a client in San Marcos, CA. This is a freelance, part-time position for a 30-year-old gentleman with an intermediate English level. The course will consist of 20 total hours, with 10 sessions of two hours each, focusing on general and business conversation, listening, and speaking skills. The student will be in the US for work until December 2026. The sessions will take place once per week, either on Monday or Tuesday at 17:00, at the teacher's home/office or a public location in San Marcos, CA. The schedule and location may be flexible. The hourly rate is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
Requirements
- Native English speaker and/or hold a relevant teaching qualification
- Experience as a language teacher, translator or interpreter
- Valid work permit/visa
- Live within 20 miles of San Marcos, CA
- Ability to provide CV with references
- Provide availability
- Provide earliest possible start date
Responsibilities
- Provide customized language training to professionals and private students.
- Teach general and business English conversation, listening, and speaking skills.
- Conduct one-to-one tutoring sessions.
