About The Position

Language Trainers is seeking a freelance Mandarin Chinese tutor for a private student in Philadelphia, PA. This is a part-time, one-to-one general language course consisting of 10 two-hour sessions, totaling 20 hours. The student is a 68-year-old gentleman with a beginner's level of Mandarin, motivated by his wife's family language. Sessions are to be held once a week, on Tuesdays or Wednesdays around noon, at a public location in Philadelphia, PA 19102. The schedule and location may be flexible based on availability. The hourly rate is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.

Requirements

• Native Mandarin Chinese speaker and/or relevant teaching qualification.
• Experience as a language teacher, translator, or interpreter.
• Valid work permit/visa.
• Ability to live within 20 miles of Philadelphia, PA 19102.
• Ability to submit CV with references, availability, and earliest possible start date.
• Must meet stated conditions and not require visa sponsorship.
