Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources.
  • 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Bilingual in French/English.
  • Strong respect for confidentiality and good judgment.
  • Good command of office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

  • Lead onboarding and integration sessions for new employees. Follow up on hiring documents and the signing of various documents, check for any necessary work permits, and facilitate recruitment meetings regarding the HR portal (VIP) and benefits.
  • Write various reports, letters, employment contracts, or other documents as required to support HR business partners.
  • Update the HR information system (VIP) according to the employee lifecycle (hiring, position change, disciplinary letter, acknowledgment receipt, training certificates, performance review forms, etc.).
  • Be the first point of contact to answer employees’ and managers’ administrative questions via the HR online ticketing platform (JIRA).
  • Conduct reference checks and background verification before hiring.
  • Coordinate and follow up on the referral program.
  • Plan and conduct exit interviews and write reports for submission to HR business partners.
  • Monitor sick leave, parental leave, and CNESST files.
  • Contribute to the creation of documentation for various work permit requests, certificates of compliance in the context of international agreements, and visitor letters.
  • Coordinate with HR business partners in managing various HR processes such as recruitment, the annual performance management cycle, the annual salary and bonus review cycle, talent reviews, service anniversaries, and any special projects.
  • Provide support to the CHRO, including organizing meetings, monthly expense reporting, and various administrative tasks related to human resources management.
  • Submit purchase requests through the Microsoft D365 system.
  • Write, update, and translate various documents (policies, appointment notices, and other employee communications).
  • Collaborate on various HR process improvement and optimization initiatives, including special projects.
