About The Position

Six Flags Great Adventure is seeking an outgoing and creative person to join our Human Resources team. This position is responsible for the supervision of the Human Resources Department, including the international visa program, Team Member Campus, and daily Department Operations.

  • Ability to train, evaluate, coach, and counsel HR staff
  • Ability to foster teamwork, professionalism, resourcefulness, and efficiency
  • Ability to create and post HR employee schedules
  • Ability to monitor payroll and expenses
  • Knowledge of Federal and State employment forms completion
  • Ability to assist in processing unemployment, social service, and outside agency paperwork
  • Ability to complete employment verifications
  • Ability to assist in developing a rewards program for Seasonal employees
  • Ability to coordinate and monitor the International Student Program
  • Ability to oversee on-campus housing operations
  • Knowledge of laws and policies regarding the employment of minors, including working papers and schedules

Responsibilities

  • Enforcement of all company attendance policies and procedures, including any applicable warnings and/or counseling sessions
  • Facilitation of new HR processes and continual training
  • Interface frequently with local departments to understand all departmental objectives and discover necessary tasks to aid them in analyzing and improving their business
  • Track and analyze statistical employment data to coordinate targeted hiring efforts and focus on hiring specialty positions as needed
  • Conducting regular meetings with department representatives to determine the effectiveness of hiring plans and discussing staffing needs/concerns of departments
  • Coordinate park Supervision to attend Job fairs and assist in the onboarding process
  • Help in the planning, communication, and execution of all employee events.
  • Continually train, evaluate and coach/counsel HR staff as needed while setting high standards of performance for all areas within their responsibilities
  • Foster an environment of teamwork, professionalism, resourcefulness, and efficiency
  • Create and post HR employee schedule and monitor payroll and expenses
  • Ensure all Federal and State employment forms are completed properly
  • Assist in processing unemployment, social service and all outside agency paperwork
