About The Position

Peterbilt Motors Company, a PACCAR company, is seeking a Human Resources Intern to join its team in Denton, Texas. The intern will work on a range of projects and reports, supporting activities across recruiting, plant HR, safety, and training. The role also involves creating communications and presentation materials, identifying opportunities to improve existing processes, and completing other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

Currently enrolled in a Human Resources, Business, or related program.

Nice To Haves

Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Proficiency with video editing software.

Responsibilities

Assist with proctoring mechanical assessments for shop floor applicants.
Support various recruiting activities.
Work with staff to identify process improvement opportunities for existing procedures.
Assist with interviewing applicants.
Rotate through the plant HR, Safety, and Training departments.
Create communications materials, including flyers for Peterbilt events or activities.
Create PowerPoint presentations and videos.
Complete other tasks as assigned.
