About The Position

Peterbilt Motors Company, a PACCAR company, is hiring a Human Resources Intern to join its Human Resources team in Denton, Texas, for summer 2027. The intern will work on a variety of projects and reports, including recruiting, applicant assessments and interviews, process improvement, communications materials, and presentations or videos. The internship includes rotations through the plant HR, Safety, and Training departments.

Requirements

Currently enrolled in a Human Resources, Business, or related program.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Assist with proctoring mechanical assessments for shop floor applicants.
Participate in various recruiting activities.
Work with staff to identify process improvement opportunities for existing procedures.
Assist with interviewing applicants.
Rotate through the plant HR, Safety, and Training departments.
Create communications materials, including flyers for Peterbilt events or activities.
Create PowerPoints and videos.
Perform other tasks as assigned.
