Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in human resources or equivalent work expierence
  • 3 – 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Expierence with ADP preferred
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Good communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities

  • Perform new hire onboarding tasks and ensure proper documentation is completed.
  • Assist in administering employee benefits including leave of absences and FMLA.
  • Responsible for weekly payroll processing, including employee time and attendance tracking and vacation accruals.
  • Manages the recruiting process and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
  • Perform routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Coordinate worksite events (group meetings, training sessions, employee activities, etc.)
  • Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments.
  • Assists in the deployment of HR action plans and group / regional programs
  • Provide support to Human Resources Manager as needed
  • Assist or act as back up for basic accounting needs as needed
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
