About The Position

Monarch Staffing is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist for a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity with a respected healthcare/non-profit organization in Harleysville, PA. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Human Resources, this exempt position will play a key role in supporting employee relations, benefits administration, leave management, compliance, and recruiting initiatives. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of Human Resources experience.
  • Experience administering employee benefits, leave programs, and Workers' Compensation.
  • Knowledge of FMLA, STD/LTD administration, unemployment processes, and HR compliance.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with discretion.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office applications.

Nice To Haves

  • Healthcare or non-profit Human Resources experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and support employee medical and non-traditional benefit programs, including employee communications and enrollment assistance.
  • Manage Workers' Compensation and Unemployment programs, ensuring timely reporting, documentation, and regulatory compliance.
  • Oversee the administration of Short-Term Disability (STD), Long-Term Disability (LTD), and Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) programs.
  • Serve as a trusted HR resource by responding to employee questions and resolving HR-related concerns professionally and confidentially.
  • Conduct routine audits of benefits, personnel files, and HR programs to ensure compliance, accuracy, and data integrity.
  • Review and update performance management documentation on an annual basis.
  • Conduct exit interviews, document employee feedback, and identify trends for leadership review.
  • Support recruitment activities including candidate screening, interviewing, and onboarding as needed.
  • Participate as an active member of the organization's Safety Committee.
  • Assist with additional Human Resources projects and departmental initiatives as assigned.
