About The Position

Broan-NuTone is seeking an energetic, detail-oriented, conscientious HR Generalist (HRG) to join the robust Human Resources team. This role will work onsite in Hartford, WI, and no two days will be alike. In this role, the HRG will provide exceptional customer service throughout the employment lifecycle. Duties include supporting all aspects of HR, including onboarding, reporting, leave management, recruitment, and HR processes. The HRG will also assist with employee relations and gain knowledge to grow within other areas of HR.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelors’ degree or previous college coursework preferred.
  • HR certification desired.
  • Two plus years of equivalent relevant work experience providing high-quality HR support in a fast-paced business environment preferred.
  • Professional HR experience is strongly preferred.
  • HRIS experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of state and federal employment regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to employees while investigating and resolving employee questions received through walk-in inquiries, phone calls, or emails. Escalate when appropriate.
  • Maintain and update HR forms and related documentation.
  • Facilitate exit process through conducting exit interviews.
  • Assist in turnover analysis, identifying trends, and remediation efforts.
  • Support benefit related questions.
  • Assist with leaves of absence and disability programs, including coordination with employees and managers.
  • Resolution of leave issues which may include, issues related to pay, return to work, and work restrictions.
  • Partner with the local safety team as needed.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of company policies and procedures. Guide employees and leaders.
  • Assist in training leaders.
  • Support employee relations issues by completing prompt and thorough investigations and ensuring conflict resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and agencies.
  • Maintain current knowledge of new laws and legal trends affecting HR-related activities and functions.
  • Partner with business leaders on staffing needs and recruitment.
  • Support onboarding process
  • Provide support with mission, vision, culture, DEI, and company brand.
  • Frontline Obsession (FLO) ambassador, to include ideation, participation, and leading by example.
  • Supports HR projects, programs, initiatives.
  • Assistance with coordination of events and meetings.
