About The Position

The HR Generalist will support recruitment efforts, assist with onboarding and training, conduct investigations, provide HR policy guidance, and coordinate communication and engagement initiatives. This role requires proficiency in Microsoft Office, strong communication and organizational skills, and a demonstrated knowledge of labor laws and regulations. The position also emphasizes superior customer service and maintaining confidentiality.

Responsibilities

  • Support recruitment efforts, developing sourcing strategies and community partnerships.
  • Assist with job postings, candidate screening, interview scheduling, and onboarding.
  • Coordinate and conduct new hire onboarding initiatives, including new hire orientation.
  • Conduct and maintain mandatory training and refresher training.
  • Assist in conducting effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
  • Process complaints regarding sexual harassment, discrimination, or other instances of workplace harassment and assist in any necessary investigations and disciplinary actions.
  • Assist in providing performance management guidance to property leadership (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
  • Handle all administrative tasks for onboarding, new-hire orientations, and exit interviews, including data entry in HRIS and audits for accuracy and compliance.
  • Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation consistent with policies, and State and Federal regulations.
  • Assist with compiling and analyzing new hire and exit surveys, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Coordinate property-wide communication initiatives and efforts.
  • Assist with design and execution of engagement, wellness, and retention events, including back-of-house branding initiatives.
  • Enthusiastically support, actively promote, and demonstrate superior customer service.
  • Maintain an extremely high level of confidentiality.
  • Comply with all policies and procedures.
