About The Position

This role supports recruitment efforts, assists with HR processes, and contributes to employee engagement and compliance. The HR Generalist will handle administrative tasks, provide HR policy guidance, and assist with investigations and performance management. The position also involves coordinating communication initiatives and engagement events, while maintaining a high level of confidentiality and adhering to company policies.

Requirements

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Product Suite (Excel, Outlook, Teams)
  • Ability to work with various levels of the organization to develop and influence culture
  • Highly effective communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills, presentation skills, and ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Demonstrated exceptional customer service, with a commitment in producing quality results
  • Demonstrated knowledge of state, local and federal labor laws and regulations related to HR

Responsibilities

  • Support recruitment efforts by developing sourcing strategies and community partnerships.
  • Assist with job postings, candidate screening, interview scheduling, and onboarding.
  • Coordinate and conduct new hire onboarding initiatives, including new hire orientation.
  • Conduct and maintain mandatory training and refresher training.
  • Assist in conducting effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
  • Process complaints regarding sexual harassment, discrimination, or other workplace harassment and assist in investigations and disciplinary actions.
  • Assist in providing performance management guidance to property leadership.
  • Handle administrative tasks for onboarding, new-hire orientations, and exit interviews, including data entry and audits.
  • Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation.
  • Assist with compiling and analyzing new hire and exit surveys.
  • Coordinate property-wide communication initiatives.
  • Assist with the design and execution of engagement, wellness, and retention events.
  • Enthusiastically support, actively promote, and demonstrate superior customer service.
  • Maintain an extremely high level of confidentiality.
  • Comply with all policies and procedures.
