We are seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support and facilitate HR processes across all Anakeesta business locations. This role plays a key part in ensuring effective and efficient HR operations, supporting both HRIS administration and recruitment, while providing exceptional service to our team members.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Ability to quickly learn and utilize HRIS, payroll systems, and related applications (Paycom experience a plus).
  • Associate degree in a related field required
  • Prior Human Resources experience preferred.

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Paycom experience a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employee questions, requests, and general HR support.
  • Complete I-9 forms, verify documentation, and maintain compliance files.
  • Process terminations and assist with related documentation.
  • Conduct workplace investigations and report findings to the Human Resources Manager or Director as appropriate.
  • Conduct regularly scheduled employee engagement check-ins within assigned departments.
  • Process and maintain new hire records in Paycom, ensuring accuracy and completion.
  • Ensure all required new hire paperwork is completed if an employee begins prior to orientation.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and confidential HR files, records, and documentation.
  • Perform periodic audits of HR files to ensure compliance and completeness.
  • Respond to applicant and employee inquiries regarding policies, benefits, and hiring processes; escalate complex matters as needed.
  • Send offer letters for hourly, non-leadership roles and coordinate start dates and new hire orientation with hiring managers.
  • Prepare new hire materials, including name badges and uniforms.
  • Assist with Paycom payroll functions, including processing, answering employee questions, correcting errors, and distributing checks.
  • Act as a liaison between the organization and external benefits providers.
  • Conduct or assist with new hire orientation sessions.
  • Support the planning and execution of HR-related events such as benefits enrollment, company meetings, employee recognition events, holiday celebrations, and retirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support HR operations.
