About The Position

We are seeking a personable, professional, and caring individual to join our growing Human Resources team as an HR Generalist! As the HR Generalist, you will provide administrative and on-site support to our Johnson County office. You will build relationships with staff and assist with HR-related questions, as well as manage several assigned HR processes. You will also teach the HR portions of new hire training and provide HR management training. Are you detail-oriented, outgoing, and a self-starter? Requirements

• Associate’s degree minimally required.
• At least 1 year of administrative experience required.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Professional and courteous demeanor.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and teach in front of groups of people.
• Must be able to work on site.
• Must successfully pass criminal background check.
• Must have valid Driver’s License.

Nice To Haves

• Prior HR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and on-site support to the Johnson County office.
• Build relationships with staff and assist with HR-related questions.
• Manage several assigned HR processes.
• Teach the HR portions of new hire training.
• Provide HR management training.
• Benefits administration, including managing enrollments, changes, and terminations.
• Administer HR processes, including background checks, performance agreements, and employee file maintenance.
• Serve as HR representative for the site, building relationships with staff and answering questions.
• Collect I-9 documentation from new staff.
• Train the HR section for new hires and provide new manager HR training.
