About The Position

We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Generalist III with expertise in Paycor (HRIS) at a proficient level to ensure the smooth and efficient execution of all HR operations. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, updating, and implementing HR policies and company guidelines, ensuring they are in compliance with relevant standards and regulations set by authorities. A Human Resources Generalist III must be an experienced professional with deep knowledge of all matters concerning HR departments. You should be able to manage programs and work alongside staff while also possessing a strong strategic mindset. The goal is to ensure that all HR needs of the company are being meet and are aligned with all business objectives.

Requirements

  • Excellent knowledge of employment legislation and regulations.
  • Thorough knowledge of human resource management principles and best practices.
  • Knowledge of data analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Diligent and firm with high ethical standards.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • SHRM certification required.
  • Five or more years of HR experience required.
  • Two professional references required.

Nice To Haves

  • Current or previous experience in an HR Generalist role in a large (300+ employee) warehousing company is highly preferred.
  • Bi-lingual candidate preferred (Spanish, English).

Responsibilities

  • Execute corporate plans for a variety of HR matters such as compensation, benefits, health and safety etc.
  • Act to support the human factor in the company by implementing strategies for performance evaluation, staffing, training and development etc.
  • Oversee all HR initiatives, systems and procedures.
  • Monitor adherence to internal policies and legal standards.
  • Manage the recruitment needs of the organization and calendar appointments according to operational requirements.
  • Generating official internal documents such as offer letters, appointment letters, employment verifications and disciplinary notices.
  • Maintaining physical and digital files for employees and their documents, benefits and attendance records.
  • Supporting Management to Administer appropriate disciplinary action against employees who violate rules and regulations and addressing employee grievances.
  • Administering the benefits plan companywide for new associates and managing new enrollment monthly.
  • Record workers compensation claims as well as supporting associates through the necessary steps to recovery.
  • Record and manage grievances/violations invoking disciplinary action when required.
  • Anticipate and resolve litigation risks.
  • Report to senior management by analyzing data and using HR metrics.
  • Create and implement employee relations policies to help increase employees’ job satisfaction.
  • Administer procedures and practices for hiring new employees and help manage the performance/moral of our staff.
  • Administer orientation procedures for onboarding new hires and training them to meet the needs of the company.
  • Communicate with employees about compensation, benefits and other facets of their employment.
  • Respond to questions or complaints from employees in a timely manner
