About The Position

The Human Resource Manager oversees all aspects of the human resources function within the organization and develops and implements HR strategies to support the company’s objectives. The role is based in a Skilled Nursing/Long Term Care setting and includes supporting facility HR activities, employee onboarding and documentation, benefits enrollment, recruitment, and employment-law compliance.

Requirements

• Must have experience in human resources in long-term care.
• Must be a high school graduate at minimum.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

• College education in business or human resources preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and conduct new employee orientation, including reviewing policies, procedures, and the employee handbook.
• Assist in implementing Human Resources activities within the facility.
• Develop and maintain a good working rapport with other departments within the facility.
• Work with employees to complete required forms and documentation for FMLA and leaves of absence.
• Communicate with and assist employees in enrolling in benefit programs.
• Ensure compliance with employment labor laws and regulations.
• Use an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) for recruitment purposes.
