About the position
The HR/People Coordinator position at Stord is responsible for providing on-site HR support and ensuring a positive employee experience at the ATL FC warehouse in Union City, Georgia. This role involves collaborating with the People team to create an inclusive and engaging work environment, supporting staffing initiatives, implementing HR policies, advocating for employee needs, and continuously improving the employee experience. The Coordinator will also handle administrative HR functions, assist with onboarding, and contribute to people initiatives to drive a network-wide culture. Success in this role is defined by having engaged associates and empowered managers in the warehouse.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the People team to create a positive work environment for warehouse associates
- Support staffing partner and project manager in improving relationship and environment for contingent labor
- Develop fluency in HR policies and assist in implementation, adherence, and compliance
- Advocate for the needs of associates by gathering feedback and data from conversations, surveys, and requests
- Embrace the startup environment and bring new ideas to improve Stord
- Provide daily on-site support for HR functions such as time card administration and benefits support
- Collaborate with People Ops Generalist to prioritize tasks and initiatives
- Assist in onboarding new hires and provide ongoing training
- Support engagement initiatives and conduct pulse checks for warehouse associates
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR files and records
- Answer frequently asked questions from associates and refer complex questions to senior-level HR staff
- Ensure confidentiality of HR files and records
- Assist with payroll functions and fix processing errors
- Help plan and execute special events such as benefits enrollment and employee engagement events
- Perform other assigned duties.
