Part Time Hub Supervisor
About The Position
The Hub Supervisor supervises Package Handlers and trains, develops, and holds workgroups accountable for safety, production, and attendance. The role sets and maintains high standards for productivity, accuracy, customer service, organization, communication, cooperation, and safety. It provides effective leadership and fosters working relationships with personnel throughout the organization. The supervisor ensures compliance with safety policies and applicable department, station, corporate, and OSHA requirements; manages department resources for maximum output, accuracy, and efficiency; and promotes a positive, team-oriented work environment focused on employee involvement, proactive communication, interdepartmental cooperation, and continual improvement. The role also supports employees’ professional growth through development plans, orientation, skills and safety training, materials and information, regular evaluations, and coaching.
Requirements
- Ability to lift 70 lbs. / 32 kgs.
- Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, a lawful permanent resident, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer.
