About The Position
The Hub Supervisor oversees Package Handlers and trains, develops, and holds workgroups accountable for safety, production, and attendance. The role maintains high standards for productivity, accuracy, customer service, organization, communication, cooperation, and safety. It provides effective leadership and builds working relationships with personnel throughout the organization. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 11 PM to 4 AM. The position is permanent and part-time.
Requirements
- Ability to lift 70 lbs./32 kgs.
- Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to five days per week.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, a lawful permanent resident, or an alien authorized to work in the United States for this employer.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree or international equivalent.
- Management experience.
Responsibilities
- Ensure employees follow safety policies and procedures and comply with department, station, corporate, and OSHA requirements.
- Manage department resources to maximize output, accuracy, and efficiency.
- Promote a positive, team-oriented environment focused on employee involvement, proactive communication, cooperation between departments, and continual improvement.
- Implement employee personal development plans as required.
- Ensure employees receive orientation, skills and safety training, appropriate materials and information, regular evaluations, and proactive coaching.
