About The Position

The Hub Supervisor manages and oversees daily hub operations, including supervising city delivery dispatchers, hub delivery specialists, and other assigned team members. The role is responsible for maintaining accurate, customer-focused city delivery services; overseeing delivery routes, inventory, expenses, staffing, and vehicle maintenance; and ensuring compliance with company policies and safe driving practices. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. The supervisor works with the store manager on staffing, coverage, performance evaluations, hiring, and training. The position also ensures that drivers meet pre-employment drug-testing and motor vehicle record requirements and that regularly scheduled drivers maintain approved records with Risk Management. Responsibilities

Manage and maintain accuracy and customer service across city delivery functions.
Work with city delivery dispatchers to ensure product is properly invoiced to spoke stores.
Investigate hub shipping and inventory discrepancies and ensure timely correction.
Assist with monthly cycle counts and other assigned inventory control duties.
Ensure hub stockers and related personnel check in and put away stock orders accurately and on time.
Maintain a focus on shrinkage and ensure tools are in place to minimize theft and paperwork shortages.
Oversee assigned hub delivery routes, ensure routes are followed, maximize efficiency, and minimize costs.
Ensure safe driving practices and compliance with delivery-service policies.
Manage hub-related expenses to maximize profitability for hub and spoke stores.
Maintain an organized and clean city delivery area, divided into areas or bins for each spoke store.
Schedule hub employees to ensure adequate coverage while meeting the payroll budget.
Maintain monthly work schedules for supervised team members and ensure employees clock in and out according to company policy.
Ensure dispatchers monitor delivery specialists’ route schedules and communicate delays to stores remaining on routes.
Coordinate with the store manager to cover routes when the regular city delivery supervisor or delivery specialists are absent.
Work with the store manager and hub delivery specialists to maintain vehicles and complete quarterly inspections thoroughly and accurately.
Ensure vehicle mileage is entered into the asset management system daily.
Provide the store manager with input on dispatcher and delivery specialist performance for performance evaluations.
Assist with recruiting by completing recruiting tasks, scheduling and participating in interviews, evaluating candidates, and collaborating with management on candidate selection.
Ensure new-driver training occurs on time and required ongoing training is completed.
Ensure drivers pass pre-employment drug tests and receive Risk Management approval of their motor vehicle records before employment.
Ensure all employees regularly scheduled to drive have an approved motor vehicle record on file with Risk Management.
