The HRIS Analyst supports the HRIS Supervisor by applying business requirements and HRIS standards to the development, evaluation, and maintenance of HR systems. The role modifies existing system programs and configurations to correct issues or improve functionality, and helps maintain HR data integrity through system testing, auditing, mass updates, reporting, and end-user support. The analyst configures HR modules according to standard system guidelines and the supervisor’s direction; creates, reviews, and executes test scripts for upgrades, patches, and bug fixes; analyzes and documents results; and escalates issues as appropriate. The role creates and distributes reports, primarily by editing existing reports and following established security guidelines. Requests outside approved security guidelines are referred to the Data Owner for review. Reporting may involve relational databases and reporting tools. The position provides second-level customer support and monitors systems for issues and data-integrity problems. The analyst investigates, documents, and tests issues for reproduction before attempting fixes, and escalates unresolved issues to appropriate internal or vendor contacts. The role also supports HRIS project managers, documents current systems and processes, identifies improvement opportunities, and performs administrative functions including HR intranet content management, user/configuration/setup work, SR incident management, and FP/Jira case management. Other projects and tasks may be assigned.
