About The Position

This role serves as a trusted resource to managers and employees, providing guidance on employee relations, performance management, attendance, and workplace concerns. It supports the full employee lifecycle, from recruiting to offboarding, and partners with leaders to improve engagement, retention, and team effectiveness, especially within a production workforce. The position requires maintaining accurate employee data in HR systems, assisting with compensation and benefits administration, and collaborating with leaders to address workforce challenges and implement solutions. The HR Generalist will also support policy interpretation, participate in site initiatives, and provide responsive, hands-on HR support on the production floor.

Requirements

  • Must be reliable, self-motivated, and demonstrate sound judgment with a positive attitude.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build effective working relationships.
  • Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems (Workday preferred).
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Minimum of 2–4 years of Human Resources experience required.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted resource to managers and employees, providing guidance on employee relations, performance management, attendance, and workplace concerns; support investigations and corrective actions as needed.
  • Support the full employee lifecycle, including recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, training, performance reviews, and offboarding activities.
  • Partner with leaders to improve engagement, retention, and team effectiveness, particularly within a production workforce.
  • Maintain accurate employee data in HR systems (Workday preferred); audit records, run reports, and support leaders in effective use of HR tools.
  • Assist with compensation and benefits administration, including employee questions, enrollments, and changes.
  • Collaborate with HR and business leaders to identify trends, address workforce challenges, and implement practical solutions that improve productivity and reduce turnover.
  • Support policy interpretation and ensure consistent application of company practices in alignment with federal, state, and local laws.
  • Participate in site initiatives, communications, and change efforts that support operational and cultural priorities.
  • Provide responsive, hands-on HR support on the production floor, building strong relationships with a diverse workforce.
