HR Generalist

Entera is seeking a talented HR Generalist and Culture Builder to join their People Strategies team. In this role, the individual will be responsible for ensuring seamless onboarding experiences, cultivating a positive and inclusive workplace culture, and managing essential HR reporting and tasks. They will also champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives and serve as the sole People team representative in the Houston office. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on culture building, community engagement, and data-driven decision-making to positively impact the workforce.

Take the lead in fostering a vibrant and inclusive work culture that promotes collaboration, respect, and employee engagement.

Organize and facilitate team-building activities, events, and initiatives to enhance employee morale and cohesion.

Prepare regular HR-related reports and dashboards for management to provide insights into key HR metrics, such as turnover, retention, and employee satisfaction.

Utilize data-driven approaches to make informed decisions that positively impact the workforce.

Coordinate and facilitate the seamless onboarding and offboarding process for new and departing employees (including unemployment).

Ensure that all necessary paperwork and documentation are completed accurately and efficiently.

Assist in the management and maintenance of the HR Information System (HRIS), ensuring that employee data is accurate, confidential, and up-to-date.

Provide support and training to employees and managers on using the HRIS effectively.

Act as a point of contact for employees' HR-related inquiries and concerns.

• Experience in HR generalist role
• Knowledge of HR reporting and metrics
• Familiarity with onboarding and offboarding processes
• Proficiency in HRIS system management
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Understanding of HR compliance and labor laws
• Ability to address and resolve employee relations matters
• Experience in benefits administration
• Passion for promoting diversity and inclusion within the organization

• Benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, and terminations
• Stay up-to-date with local, state, and federal labor laws and regulations
• Address and resolve employee relations matters, conflicts, and performance issues
• Lead efforts to promote diversity and inclusion within the organization
• Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations
• Process unemployment claims
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
• Handle sensitive and confidential information with utmost discretion
• Analyze and interpret HR metrics
• Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
• Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture
• Proficiency in HRIS and Google Suite, Google Sheets/Excel experience
• SHRM-CP or PHR certification (preferred but not required)
