About The Position

Working at the Pennsylvania Convention Center means being part of a dynamic team that brings world-class events to life in the heart of Philadelphia. We are seeking a passionate HR professional to play a key role in supporting talent within a fast-paced, event-based business. The Human Resources Assistant provides administrative and operational support to the HR department and serves as a first-level point of contact for employees. This role assists with day-to-day HR functions including employee relations, onboarding, recruitment support, and training coordination while helping ensure accurate records and effective communication across the organization. Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous administrative or human resources support experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and confidentiality.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HR information systems.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Flexible availability to work some nights and/or weekends.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree coursework in Human Resources or related field preferred.
  • 1-2 years of previous administrative or human resources support experience.
