About The Position

The HR Administrator supports full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, health and safety, training and HR administration. This role ensures a smooth hiring process, positive new hire experience, and accurate maintenance of employee records and HR systems.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of HR or administrative experience
  • Experience with HR systems (BambooHR preferred)
  • Strong organization, communication, and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism

Responsibilities

  • Post roles and manage candidates in BambooHR
  • Screen applicants and coordinate interviews with hiring managers
  • Prepare candidate approvals and conduct verbal offers
  • Draft and send employment contracts
  • Facilitate new hire onboarding sessions and office tours
  • Prepare employee documentation and onboarding materials
  • Coordinate IT setup, access, and first-day logistics
  • Partner with managers for training handoff
  • Maintain employee records and updates in BambooHR
  • Assign employee numbers and ensure documentation is complete
  • Track probation periods and performance review timelines
  • Administer benefits enrollment and documentation
  • Support probation completion and employee communications
  • Assist with RRSP enrollment and general HR inquiries
  • Coordinate mandatory training (e.g., WHMIS, workplace harassment)
  • Track certifications and maintain training records
  • Support workplace health and safety compliance initiatives
  • Co-chair Joint Health & Safety Committee (JHSC) meetings
  • Help organize meetings, document minutes, and follow up on action items
  • Other duties as assigned
