About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Administrator to support an internal team of under 100 employees. This role is responsible for executing key HR functions across a multi-state workforce, with a strong focus on compliance, payroll accuracy, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate is hands-on, organized, and comfortable supporting a fast-paced, revenue-driven environment.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in an HR support or administrative role
  • Experience supporting a multi-state workforce required
  • Working knowledge of FMLA administration and general leave of absence processes
  • Strong knowledge of I-9 compliance and HR best practices
  • Experience processing or supporting weekly payroll, ideally in environments with variable compensation (commissions/bonuses)
  • Familiarity with ATS and HRIS systems
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle onboarding, including new hire documentation and orientation
  • Ensure strict adherence to I-9 compliance and employment eligibility requirements
  • Maintain audit-ready employee records and support multi-state compliance requirements
  • Administer E-Verify processes (if applicable)
  • Support administration of employee leave programs, including FMLA, ensuring proper documentation, tracking, and compliance with federal and state regulations
  • Coordinate and process weekly payroll, including hours, commissions, bonuses, and adjustments
  • Partner with payroll providers to ensure accurate and timely payroll execution
  • Maintain payroll records and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Support reporting, audits, and compliance related to payroll and compensation
  • Assist with job postings, candidate scheduling, and interview coordination
  • Maintain ATS updates and candidate communications
  • Support offer letter preparation and onboarding transitions
  • Coordinate onboarding sessions and ongoing employee training programs
  • Track completion of required training and maintain documentation
  • Support development initiatives, particularly for sales and recruiting teams
  • Support performance review cycles, documentation, and tracking
  • Ensure consistency and compliance across evaluation processes
  • Partner with managers to maintain timelines and documentation standards
  • Serve as a first point of contact for HR-related inquiries
  • Provide basic coaching to employees and guidance to managers on routine HR matters
  • Assist employees with leave-related questions (including FMLA) and escalate complex employee relations issues as needed
