About The Position

Anchor Construction is seeking a detail-oriented HR Administrative Assistant to support daily Human Resources operations. This role provides administrative support across the employee lifecycle, including recruiting, onboarding, recordkeeping, and employee engagement, while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 6 months of HR or administrative experience
  • Fluent in English and Spanish (verbal and written)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Nice To Haves

  • HRIS/ATS experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a first point of contact for employees, visitors, calls, and messages
  • Provide HR-related customer service and respond to employee inquiries
  • Maintain accurate employee records and personnel files (physical and electronic)
  • Support pre-boarding, onboarding, and off-boarding processes
  • Collect and track new-hire paperwork; assist with I-9 compliance
  • Screen candidates and coordinate interview scheduling
  • Prepare onboarding and orientation materials
  • Assist with audits, compliance reviews, and employee status changes
  • Coordinate incoming and outgoing mail and employee birthday cards
  • Provide English/Spanish translation support as needed
  • Perform general administrative duties as assigned
