About The Position

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Housing Security Officer to provide a safe environment for employee housing and associates on company property. The officer helps ensure the safety of guests and associates by patrolling the resort, enforcing laws and company policies, and deterring illegal activity. The role also supports a secure workplace where associates can perform their duties with confidence and peace of mind, while contributing to the company’s commitment to caring for guests, associates, and communities.

Requirements

• General working knowledge of local, state, and federal laws.
• Valid driver’s license in the state of employment.
• Must be able to write, read, and speak English as a first language.

Nice To Haves

• Previous law enforcement or military experience.
• Hotel or resort experience.
• Bilingual skills.

Responsibilities

• Check in with the shift supervisor and/or manager-on-duty upon arrival and review security logs and reports daily.
• Patrol resort lobbies, floors, common areas, associate areas, basement, and grounds.
• Complete required paperwork when an incident requires a report or statement, and advise the shift supervisor or manager-on-duty when finished.
• Maintain confidentiality in all verbal and written actions to protect the rights of guests, associates, and Kalahari Resorts.
• Enforce laws and company policies and deter illegal activities on company property.
