About The Position

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Housing Security Officer to help provide a safe environment for employee housing and associates on company property. The role helps protect guests and associates by patrolling the resort, enforcing applicable laws and company policies, and deterring illegal activity. The officer is also expected to maintain confidentiality and support a secure workplace where team members can perform their duties with confidence.

Requirements

• General working knowledge of local, state, and federal laws.
• Valid driver's license in the state of employment.
• Must be able to write, read, and speak English as a first language.

Nice To Haves

• Previous law enforcement or military experience is preferred but not required.
• Hotel or resort experience is preferred.
• Bilingual skills are helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Check in with the shift supervisor and/or manager-on-duty upon arrival and review security logs and reports daily.
• Patrol resort lobbies, floors, common areas, associate areas, the basement, and grounds.
• Complete required paperwork for incidents that require a report or statement, and notify the shift supervisor or manager-on-duty when finished.
• Maintain confidentiality in verbal and written actions to protect the rights of guests, associates, and Kalahari Resorts.
• Enforce laws and company policies and deter illegal activities.
