Houseperson
About The Position
As a Houseperson, you respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments and identify and report preventative or other maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms. You perform a variety of tasks to keep guestrooms, work areas, and the hotel premises clean and orderly. Duties include receiving linen supplies from floor shoots, maintaining housekeeping carts, removing trash collected by room attendants, walking assigned floors at the beginning and end of each shift to collect newspaper bags, newspapers, trash, and soiled linen, and picking up clean linen to refill the par stock in each floor pantry.
