About The Position
The Houseperson supports the housekeeping team at WorldMark New Braunfels Resort by preparing units for cleaning after guest departures and helping maintain the company’s quality standards. The role handles linen duties and keeps department storage areas organized, maintained, and clean. The Houseperson also follows the company safety program and applicable OSHA requirements, including the Global Harmonized System (GHS) for chemicals.
Requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong ability to communicate effectively with employees, guests, and owners.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
- Professional appearance, positive can-do attitude, and team focus.
- Valid driver’s license.
Responsibilities
- Provide housekeeping throughout the resort to maintain cleanliness and a clean environment for guests.
- Support the housekeeping team by maintaining supplies and delivering linen, paper products, and unit amenities.
- Strip and make beds and assist with cleaning as needed.
- Remove trash from units and floors.
- Coordinate and prepare linen and amenities bags.
- Receive, sort, fold, and collect soiled linen.
- Organize, clean, and maintain department storage areas and stock levels according to cleanliness and safety standards.
- Deliver requested items to guest units, such as irons, coffee, paper products, and kitchen utensils.
- Follow the company safety program and applicable OSHA and GHS regulations.
