About The Position

As a Guest Services Associate, you welcome guests and provide service throughout their stay, from registration to checkout. You share information about the resort and nearby attractions, provide room rate quotes, and confirm reservations. You also handle guest transactions, cashiering responsibilities, guest folios, and inquiries or concerns.

Requirements

• Professional appearance and a positive, can-do attitude.
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Ability to solve problems with minimal supervision.
• Basic math skills and knowledge of proper cash-handling procedures.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic computer and office skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly.
• Guide guests through registration, issue unit keys, and provide information about the resort and area attractions.
• Process cash and credit card transactions according to established procedures.
• Balance cash receipts, perform bucket checks, and complete other cashiering and money-handling responsibilities.
• Complete check-out procedures and verify that guest folios reflect the correct charges and credits.
• Reserve and confirm reservations for individuals and groups.
• Provide guests with room rate quotes.
• Respond to guest inquiries and concerns as quickly and completely as possible.
