About The Position

The Houseperson/Runner assists and supports Supervisors and Housekeepers in meeting quality and timeliness standards while following the company mission statement and values. The role helps keep resort units and shared areas clean, organized, and ready on time, and supports guests, owners, and resort operations as directed. Requirements

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high standard of excellence.
• Stock and maintain the cleanliness and organization of storage closets.
• Assist with stripping units of soiled linens as directed.
• Remove soiled linens and trash from units.
• Prepare linen and supply bags as directed and deliver them to units.
• Walk assigned buildings or floors to ensure they are free of linen, trash, and equipment.
• Report unit maintenance issues according to company procedure.
• Report lost-and-found items to the Executive Housekeeper.
• Move furniture as directed.
• Help ensure a safe working environment at each site and office.
• Perform duties related to site operations as directed by the Executive Housekeeper.
• Maintain urgency so units are turned on time, and be prompt with assignments and appointments.
• Use supplies and equipment efficiently and effectively.
• Assist with linen inventories and supplies as directed.
• Assist in resolving guest complaints promptly and build positive customer relations.
• Assist resort guests and owners and make guest deliveries as directed.
• Become knowledgeable about the resort.
