About The Position

The Housekeeper is responsible for consistently meeting quality and timeliness standards while cleaning resort property units and following the company’s mission statement and values. The role includes cleaning guest rooms and common areas within units, reporting readiness and maintenance or inventory concerns, supporting guest services, and helping maintain clean and organized storage areas. The position requires working in conditions that may include odors, dust, cleaning chemicals, and laundry chemicals. Additional tasks may be assigned by MasterCorp Management.

Requirements

Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.
Must be able to lift 25 pounds, with or without accommodation.
Ability to make decisions.
Planning and scheduling capabilities.
Ability to read, write, and perform basic math.
Promptness with all assignments.
Passion for cleanliness.
Strong work ethic.
Ability to learn and change behavior.
Ability to work irregular hours.

Responsibilities

Maintain a high standard of excellence.
Strip units of soiled linens.
Remove trash from units.
Clean bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living rooms, closets, and decks, among other areas.
Report clean units as vacant and ready for inspection.
Report unit maintenance issues according to company procedure.
Report damaged, dirty, or stained carpets, drapes, furniture, and linens.
Report missing inventory and supplies to the Supervisor.
Perform weekly guest services cleans as directed.
Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of storage closets.
Attend training sessions and apply the training in practice.
Ensure a safe working environment.
Assist in resolving guest complaints promptly.
Maintain urgency so units are turned on time.
