About The Position

Valiant Residential is seeking a Housekeeper to clean vacant apartment units for marketing and occupancy, as well as property common areas, offices, and model units. The Housekeeper reports to maintenance or the business manager and works closely with maintenance staff. The role may require on-call work when needed or during emergencies, extended hours, after-hours work, and weekends.

Requirements

• Willingness to perform all required tasks.
• Demonstrated knowledge of work safety habits.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills to interact effectively with team members, residents, vendors, and other stakeholders.
• Ability to professionally represent the company.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work on call as necessary or in emergencies, and to work extended hours, including after-hours and weekends.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work.
• Social skills to interact with residents.
• Ability to sit, stand, climb, and stoop for up to eight hours or more if needed.
• Ability to walk the property for up to eight hours or more in various weather conditions.
• Ability to climb stairs.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds as needed.

• Bilingual ability in Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Clean the property business office, restrooms, laundry rooms, model apartments, and common areas on a defined schedule.
• Clean vacant apartment units in preparation for showing and occupancy.
• Report maintenance problems to the supervisor.
• Assist with inventory control.
• Perform job duties according to safety guidelines and report obstacles to following them.
• Conduct business in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Prepare units for new move-ins.
• Check appliances and inform Lead Maintenance of problems.
• Make keys when necessary.
• Inspect bathroom tiles and perform minor repairs and replacements.
• Change A/C filters.
• Operate carpet-cleaning equipment to clean carpets.
• Assist with apartment trash-outs, including moving heavy or bulky items to the dumpster.
