LVN - The Village at Northridge
About The Position
The LVN provides compassionate nursing care to residents in a community setting and delivers nursing services in accordance with physician’s orders. The role includes administering medications and treatments, assessing residents, monitoring responses to treatment plans, and providing care as needed. The LVN also supervises resident assistants, Med Aides, and Caregivers and assists the Director of Assisted Living with staffing schedules and daily staffing issues. The position is part-time and scheduled Saturdays and Sundays from 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. The anticipated wage range is $30–$32 per hour.
Requirements
- Current LVN license.
- At least one year of experience in the health, human services, and/or community services field.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to relate to a variety of people and personalities.
- Initiative, judgment, and leadership skills.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and direct resident assistants.
- Perform resident assessments.
- Order and administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician.
- Monitor residents’ responses to existing treatment plans.
- Provide residents with care as needed.
- Assist the Director of Assisted Living with staffing schedules and daily staffing issues.
- Supervise Med Aides and Caregivers.
