About The Position

The Tru by Hilton Goodlettsville is seeking a Houseperson to support the housekeeping and maintenance teams. The role helps keep the property’s shared spaces clean and ready for guests by maintaining public and service areas, distributing linens and supplies, and promptly responding to guest service needs. The position is suited to someone who takes pride in service, works well with a team, and brings a strong work ethic and integrity to each shift.

The Houseperson works in a fast-paced hotel environment and communicates with housekeeping and front desk teams. Consistent attendance and adherence to Resolute Road Hospitality’s standards are critical. The duties described are not exhaustive and may evolve based on organizational needs.

Requirements

• Basic understanding of housekeeping, laundry, and maintenance operations.
• Familiarity with the safe handling and storage of cleaning chemicals.
• Ability to communicate clearly.

• Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced setting.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous housekeeping or laundry experience.
• Experience with equipment such as vacuums and commercial washers and dryers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness in public and service areas, including hallways, elevators, stairways, and lobbies.
• Empty task, restock housekeeping closets, and distribute linens throughout the hotel.
• Deliver supplies to housekeepers, remove soiled linens, and respond to guest room service needs.
• Complete deep cleaning and special projects as assigned by leadership.
• Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, and guest property found in public areas.
• Respond to guest requests promptly and professionally.
• Maintain communication with housekeeping and front desk teams.
• Follow Resolute Road Hospitality policies, safety standards, and cleanliness protocols.
• Perform other duties as assigned by a supervisor or management.
