About The Position

As a Houseperson, you will support housekeeping operations by responding to guest requests, maintaining cleanliness in guest corridors and public areas, and transporting and replenishing linens and supplies. You will help identify and report maintenance issues, maintain work carts and stations, and assist management with linen and supply inventory. The role requires following applicable federal, state, and local laws, including OSHA, and meeting quality and productivity standards while cleaning assigned units, offices, and public areas.

Housekeeping team members must be adaptable to various shifts, including weekends and holidays. Schedules are provided upon hire, and paid training is offered. Hilton Grand Vacations describes its team as dedicated to helping Owners and Guests have memorable vacations.

Requirements

• Communicate efficiently in English with supervisors, coworkers, and guests, adapting communication style to different audiences.
• Perform job functions with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy.
• Work in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment and respond flexibly to spontaneous guest demands.
• Be physically able to work from a ladder, move furniture, operate cleaning equipment, and tolerate exposure to general cleaning chemicals.
• Work in environmental conditions that may include humidity, heat, cold, dust, and noise.

Responsibilities

• Respond to guest requests.
• Identify and report preventative or other maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms.
• Remove used linens and replace them with clean linens, towels, products, and supplies.
• Transport clean and dirty linen to and from Operations and the Buildings.
• Maintain work carts and stations to optimize appearance and efficiency.
• Ensure the resort follows applicable federal, state, and local laws, including OSHA.
• Clean guest corridors, landings, stairwells, assigned units, offices, and public areas; deliver guest requests; vacuum and clean carpets; and perform heavy cleaning in accordance with quality and productivity standards.
• Assist management in maintaining accurate inventory of linen and supplies.
