About The Position
Join the hospitality team as a Hotel Houseperson, helping elevate guest experiences through cleanliness and operational support. The role maintains cleanliness and sanitation in public areas, guest corridors, and service spaces, responds to guest requests, and helps create a welcoming environment. A proactive approach to cleaning, safety, and customer service supports the hotel’s standards.
Responsibilities
- Clean and care for floors using appropriate equipment, including vacuums, buffers, and mops.
- Handle chemical agents safely by understanding Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and following proper chemical-handling procedures.
- Assist with lifting and manually handling supplies, furniture, and cleaning equipment.
- Clean public areas, hallways, stairwells, and service spaces according to hotel sanitation protocols.
- Replenish supplies, restock linen carts, and maintain cleaning tools in good condition.
- Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests and special cleaning needs.
- Follow hotel emergency procedures during incidents or safety concerns.
