About The Position

Alisal Ranch is seeking an experienced, service-oriented Houseperson to join its Housekeeping team. The role is responsible for cleaning and maintaining main rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, corridors, offices, other indoor and outdoor work areas, and housekeeping storage areas. The Houseperson uses a range of cleaning equipment and handles general cleaning, floor care, waste and recycling, public bathroom upkeep, and other assigned projects.

Requirements

• Prior housekeeping experience is a plus.
• Desire to establish outstanding, authentic, and memorable interactions with internal and external guests.
• Integrity, dependability, and adaptability.
• Ability to multitask with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, and organization.
• Commitment to confidentiality.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull at least 50 pounds.
• Ability to work onsite and stand, sit, walk, and move continuously for the duration of a shift.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures.
• Must provide proof of identity and legal right to work in the United States after an offer and before employment.
• Conditional offer is subject to a criminal background check.
• Open availability to accommodate varying schedules, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Clean main rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, corridors, offices, other work areas inside and outside, and housekeeping storage areas.
• Operate vacuums, carpet extractors and shampoo machines, floor waxers, buffers, pressure washers, and a trash compactor.
• Empty and clean waste baskets and trash receptacles daily; remove trash and recycling from public areas and guest rooms and place it in the compactor or the appropriate recycling container.
• Sweep and mop floors; clean and maintain carpet, wood, and tile floors.
• Clean and spot-clean upholstered furniture; remove webs inside and outside assigned areas as needed.
• Clean public bathrooms and restock supplies.
• Clean walls, woodwork, doors, frames, artwork, sills, panels, and window blinds; dust furniture and equipment and polish metalwork.
• Wash sidewalks and remove spots or stains; wash windows, screens, and exterior walls.
• Complete other projects and duties as directed and assigned.
