About The Position

The Houseperson/Runner assists and supports Supervisors and Housekeepers in meeting quality and timeliness standards while following the company mission statement and values. The role helps maintain clean, organized storage areas and supports housekeeping operations by handling linens, supplies, trash, equipment, guest deliveries, and related tasks. The Houseperson/Runner also helps ensure units are turned on time, supports guest satisfaction, and maintains a safe working environment.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high standard of excellence.
• Stock storage closets and maintain their cleanliness and organization.
• Assist in stripping units of soiled linens as directed.
• Remove soiled linens and trash from units.
• Prepare linen and supply bags as directed and deliver them to units.
• Walk assigned buildings or floors to ensure they are free of linen, trash, and equipment.
• Report unit maintenance issues according to company procedure.
• Report lost and found items to the Executive Housekeeper.
• Move furniture as directed.
• Help ensure a safe working environment at each site and office.
• Perform duties related to site operation as directed by the Executive Housekeeper.
• Maintain urgency so units are turned on time and be prompt with assignments and appointments.
• Use supplies and equipment efficiently and effectively.
• Assist with linen inventories and supplies as directed.
• Assist in resolving guest complaints promptly and create positive customer relations.
• Assist resort guests and owners and make guest deliveries as directed.
• Become knowledgeable about the resort.
