About The Position

The Houseperson/Houseman assists housekeepers with various tasks to ensure rooms and common areas are clean and well-stocked. This role involves removing linen and trash, stocking storage closets, responding to guest requests, maintaining the cleanliness of outside grounds and parking areas, and assisting with room cleaning or bed making when needed. The position also includes unloading shipments and performing other assigned duties. Success in this role requires strong problem-solving, customer service, teamwork, adaptability, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Assists housekeepers with removing linen and trash from all check out rooms
• Stocks linen storage closets and keeps them free of debris and anything that may be a trip or fire hazard
• Responds to guests special requests for miscellaneous items like cribs. extra towels, etc
• Helps keep outside grounds and parking lot areas free of trash and debris.
• Helps the housekeepers make beds or clean rooms if necessary
• Unloading shipments from delivery truck
• All other duties as assigned
