About The Position
The Houseman is a Guest Environment Expert responsible for maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of the whole hotel and helping create a memorable guest experience. Duties may include delivering guest requests, stocking carts, cleaning rooms and public spaces, and performing similar housekeeping tasks. The role requires a hands-on approach and performing other reasonable job duties as requested. The position is expected to help ensure a safe workplace, follow company policies and procedures, maintain confidentiality, uphold quality standards, and maintain a professional uniform, personal appearance, and communication. The Houseman will exemplify The Ritz-Carlton Gold Standards, including its Employee Promise, Credo, and Service Values, and contribute to the care and comfort of guests.
Requirements
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended time.
- Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Professional personal appearance and communication.
