About The Position

LTD Hospitality Group is hiring a Houseman to help maintain hotel cleanliness and support housekeeping operations. The role is responsible for cleaning and maintaining corridors and public areas according to housekeeping procedures and standards, and for assisting room attendants on assigned floors to meet or exceed guest expectations. The Houseman also responds to guest requests for housekeeping supplies and reports public-area cleanliness issues to a supervisor. The position requires substantial walking, bending, kneeling, and standing, as well as the ability to lift and push or pull approximately 50 pounds. Weekend and holiday work is required.

Requirements

Responsibilities

Assist room attendants with heavy items, including mattresses, soiled linens, and garbage.
Deliver linen and necessary supplies to room attendants.
Shampoo carpets and strip and wax hotel floors.
Clean designated areas, including the lobby, public restrooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas.
Collect trash throughout the hotel, including from room attendant carts, vending areas, room service areas, offices, and restrooms.
Respond promptly and efficiently to guest requests, such as delivery of linens and infant cribs.
Inspect public areas to ensure cleanliness standards are met and report problem areas to the supervisor.
Perform other duties, projects, and tasks assigned by the employee’s manager.
