About The Position
Residence Inn Hotel, East Peoria, is looking for a dependable Houseman to join our team! This position is responsible for maintaining clean and presentable public areas throughout the hotel and assisting with light maintenance tasks. The schedule is for the 1st shift and includes occasional weekends. Frontier Hospitality Group has been locally owned since 1950. We operate eight hotels across three fantastic brands and our growth keeps climbing. We believe in a work/life harmony that fits our employees' lifestyles. We are looking for someone who takes pride in keeping the hotel clean, safe, and welcoming for our guests!
Requirements
- Reliable and dependable
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, lifting, and carrying
- Must be available to work occasional weekends
Nice To Haves
- Previous hotel, housekeeping, janitorial, or maintenance experience is preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain hotel public spaces, including hallways, lobby, common areas, and other assigned areas
- Assist with light maintenance and general upkeep throughout the property
- Maintain cleanliness and appearance of the hotel grounds and common areas
- Respond to cleaning and maintenance needs as assigned
- Assist housekeeping and other departments as needed
- Follow all safety and cleanliness procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
