About The Position

The Hotel Houseman plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and overall ambiance of the hotel, ensuring an exceptional guest experience. This position supports the housekeeping and maintenance teams by handling cleaning tasks, restocking supplies, assisting with guest requests, and maintaining public areas.

Requirements

• Prior hotel or housekeeping experience preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical stamina for lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to follow directions and maintain high cleanliness standards.

Responsibilities

• Keep hallways, lobbies, and common areas clean, sanitized, and presentable at all times.
• Deliver linens, toiletries, and amenities upon request, assisting housekeeping with room preparation.
• Sort, wash, fold, and distribute linens to ensure housekeeping efficiency.
• Move furniture, flip mattresses, and assist with deep-cleaning tasks, such as carpet shampooing.
• Support special events by setting up and arranging meeting spaces or banquet areas.
• Identify and report maintenance issues, ensuring a safe environment for guests and staff.
• Respond to guest inquiries and requests, offering a warm and helpful attitude.
