About The Position
The Houseman supports the housekeeping team at the Sheraton DFW Airport by helping keep the hotel and guest rooms clean, comfortable, and welcoming. The work is active and involves moving around the property, assisting guests, and working collaboratively with a diverse team. The role requires schedule flexibility, including availability for nights, weekends, and holidays.
Requirements
- At least one month of related experience.
- Passion for customer service.
- Ability to work seamlessly with others and collaborate within a diverse team.
- Ability to work calmly under pressure.
- Ability to stand or sit, carry or lift up to 50 pounds, walk, bend or twist, and climb stairs.
- Ability to accommodate varying schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Clean, dust, polish, and vacuum guest rooms and bathrooms to meet hotel standards.
- Change linens, make beds, and clean bathrooms.
- Restock guest room supplies, including soap, shampoo, and coffee.
- Organize the linen closet and restock the cart before the end of each shift.
- Greet guests encountered during the shift with a friendly smile.
