About The Position

The Housekeeping Supervisor oversees the Housekeeping Houseperson team and ensures that Housekeeping areas and assigned public areas are serviced and cleaned according to Omni standards. The role responds to guest requests, coordinates work with other housekeeping staff, supports floor care, checks area cleanliness and supplies, and provides guidance and performance feedback to Housepersons. The supervisor also completes projects and other assignments as directed by Housekeeping management.

Requirements

At least 6 months of housekeeping or environmental services experience.
Ability to set priorities for assigned areas and staff and provide feedback that enhances performance.
Ability to teach employees how to interact with internal and external guests and courteously resolve internal requests.
Ability to train staff to produce high volumes of work while maintaining quality according to Omni standards.
Ability to communicate clearly and pleasantly in spoken and written English with guests, management, and coworkers, in person and by radio.
Ability to accurately and efficiently enter information into computer systems.
Ability to work cohesively with coworkers within and outside the department.
Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to handle stressful situations while maintaining a calm and welcoming demeanor.
Self-motivated and able to work with limited supervision.
Ability to maintain 4-Diamond-level cleanliness standards.
Ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Ability to move, carry, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance and move, push, or pull objects weighing up to 100 pounds.
Ability to stand or walk for an extended period or an entire work shift, with repetitive motion and frequent bending, twisting, and overhead reaching.
